The Case for a More Targeted Approach to Dementia Care
We say that everyone should be offered support, but we don't necessarily think that that can be free support or even that charging massively improves from where it is right now in the short term. It's more important that everyone is helped by this national care service to get support they need. And unfortunately, for the time being, if you have the money, you would still have to pay a contribution towards it. But moving straight to a system where you have free care has been an ambition of many people for years and years.
