The Importance of Recycling
2.8 million tons of plastic waste still end up in Canadian landfills every year. Contamination can be something as small as your neighbor not properly rinsing their peanut butter jar. Not only are there recyclables contaminated, anything that that touches is also contaminated. And so I think we don't realize how easy it is to contaminate recyclables.
