Positionism and Relationalism as an Antidote?

I'm trying to demonstrate that there are other ways of thinking about football. I think positionism is prevalent amongst many top clubs, and it's prevalent in academies as well. In positionism, the primary, one of the primary references is space. For a relationalist modes of playing football, you can actually see space as something derivative of the other three. And there, in that sense, your position is not the starting point. The position is always already emerging as a result of the interactions between the teammate, the ball, and the opponent.
