Phyllis's Life Revolved Around Animals.

To say that Phyllis was an animal lover would be like saying, kids tolerate ice cream. She had a house full of dogs and was active on the show circuit. As she tore away the red paper, it suddenly hit me as the theme from Jaws came to mind from nowhere. This was not going to be pretty. The one person in the room who should not receive a picture of a sail bunny was staring at it as though it were a human head on a spike. So my thoughtful and quick-thinking husband said the only comforting thing he could think of: Pass them around, Tom. Maybe somebody else will choose them. One person even applauded.
