What Is a Quantifurine Gold Test?
The quantifurine gold test has unique antigens to mycobacterial tuberculosis. Unlike the PPD, you don't have to worry if they've had a prior BCG vaccination. Just because your body has seen tuberculosis before doesn't actually mean that it is necessarily causing this presentation.
