The Reconstruction Era in Florida

The American Civil War took place from 1861 to 1865. After the Civil War, there was this period where the United States government said, hmm, we messed up and we need to redress the political, social, economic legacies of slavery. So maybe some of us need a refresher on what the reconstruction era is. And by the way, you're going to have to listen to me tell some stories again about when I was in high school or when he was in elementary school.
