Most cult leaders are these debaucherous opportunists right maybe they have a little bit of charm but mostly they're just like dian niceein megalomaniacal heededis. They don't have a grand master plan from the beginning but they will take any opportunity that comes their way well you also have to remember with this slew of drugs and guns and all these different things going on there was a manson esque band of cracked out people who literally held this man hostage at one point. There was a moment where julian offered his son michael a million dollars for his girlfriend and then ended up dating the girlfriend for a while after a huge fight broke out
