Photo Receptors

Many cells that were organistwas essentially anarobic, had to form endo symbiotic relationships with cells that were not sensitive to oxygen. That was, in fact, one of the great extinctions. The first organisms that develop photo receptors, you can be sure they were unicellular organisms. It's something that happened very early in in his evolutionary history.
