The new enterprise as Tata's are going to run it would be board driven. The appointments would be made mostly on merit with very little nepotism. Richard Branson believed in serving the internal customer and improving morale. Even if they don't go in for mergers, the fact that they can put in something in a loss making organization, which is temporary, I think could turn the organization around.
