Fosbury flop is a technique for jumping backwards over the bar. It was pioneered by high jump athlete dick fosbury, who won gold at the olympics aged 21. Fosbury said it's up to under dogs and people doing poorly to try out new techniques. He says he thinks this could be an example of how learning can work in different ways.
