Island, Entangled Worlds, Enables Us to Think Differently
In a world of climate change and globe warming, maybe some of you've come across this concept of the anthropocine. A lot of our aspirations towards progress have really ignored our relationships with the environment and with the world that we live in. I want to suggest there's a greater sort of scepticism about that universalizing story of progress. We can think about different ways of regaining that, or developing those sensitivities, through thinking about islands.
