I Agree That Phero Was Influenced by Buddhism
Alexander was in central asia for two years. Some scholars say he adopted buddist attitudes t o his life. I disagree with that, so do stoneman and komansky very much disagree wth that. Alexander must have ha able to speak local languages in his enterage. We know that an indian philosopher called calonus went with alexander from india and conversaded with him for a bit. And there was, as a mention, a tradition of scepticism and suspending judgment. After the conquest of the punjab and surrounding areas, the indo greek kings occupied gandera and almost certainly had some dealings with the local buddhist communities.
