I think one of the secrets to creativity is just quantity, like, coming up with something. Have you seen the study? I can't remember what it's called. The pottery study where they had three groups. One group was instructed to make the best pot that they could. And then another group was making as many pots as you can and then just pick the best one. It's a numbers game. If you write something every day, most of it might be crap, but eventually what you're creating is going to be decent because you just made so much crap.
