Tallahasse, it seems, persisted in this site eastern alabama for 202 hundred 50 years. And the biggest, most dramatic change that they saw was the encroachment and closer arrival of anglo american colonists into their sphere of influence. Many creeks saw a lot of benefit from trade and from the adoption of some european customs and life ways. But even in talahasse, there was tension and disagreement over how much contact or how much intermarriage to allow with the europeanAmericans.
