The Importance of Pausanias in Greek History

Pausanias adds so much to our knowledge like without him we would really be lacking on so much when it comes to the practical aspects of Greek history. It's hard to overstate his importance but it's also important to remember that he's just like he's one dude it's one perspectiveYeah and you know if he just happens to rock up to Olympia on a day that Demetrius is a local guide and not um and Tinois then he's getting totally different information and reporting that right. There are some really interesting passages where he talks about like relics in sanctuaries.
