How to Optimize a Compiler for Micro Performance
There are a bunch of stuff in here. TS support and template is high on people's list, which kind of makes sense. Resumeability? I guess that would be like a spelt or spelt kit thing. That sounds like Nisko. There's a lot of optimizations like that that add a lot of complexity for very much a micro performance increase. And I think that those are going to be a hard sell to maintain this basically. If you focus purely on performance, you could definitely tweak it, but you're going to lose some DX,. So, yeah, all these things need to be considered, I think.
