I think the semantic element is a real significant and important central theme for our work in producing great websites or web products. So given everything that it is good for, it's quite worrying that we're not spending more time on this. I'm going back to Alan Cooper and saying designers don't need to code. A designer of any flavour can learn things like header, nav, main, section, article, body, and foot because these are things we're designing anywhere.
