Is There a Drop of Nostalgia?

I feel like you are not nostalgic for a better past but living in the present to find joy in the tough times we're in now. And it reminded me of a passage you wrote where you say the way things become more lustrous, dearer, when we know they, or we are disappearing. You're absolutely right. There's not a drop of nostalgia to this. What I'm trying to do is attend to models of surviving because most of us at some point come from people for whom the world was ending.
