The Death of Michael Stewart

Jean-Michel Basquiat painted a painting called Defacement, the Death of Michael Stewart. It was rediscovered after having been in private hands for a long time by a young curator. Nancy Spector, senior curator at the Guggenheim, said essentially come into our building and bring this into the museum.
