The Covenant of Grace

The covenant of grace is God declaring that he will save his people from their sins by taking their punishment upon himself. Christ had to live a perfect righteous life because Adam had sinned and we have sinned. The father pours out the wrath unto the son and Christ makes atonement, he justifies us. He buys us back from under the penalty of sin in our salvation.
