Breast Cancer and Radiation Therapy

Radiation therapy is good for locally advanced or inoperable tumors. Whole breast radiation decreases local recurrence and improved survival after lumpectime. For women with four or more positive lymph nodes, radiation to the super clavicular, infer clavicular and axlar lymph nodes is often recommended.
