The Benefits of Pulse Oxygenation Monitoring
In general, I think pulse oximetry is usually our default for monitoring oxidation. We're in general more comfortable with oxygen saturation than PAO2 values. If you're using ABG values, you can't get a thousand measurements an hour. It's harder to trend those out because like obviously the oxygen level is going up and down all the time.
