The Evolution of Technology

I suspect by attack is the big technological change coming. Technology looks surprisingly predictable when you look backwards, but it looks completely unpredictable when you look forward. You couldn't have stood at the beginning of the 20th century and said transport was going to be all about communication. And yet I've seen incredible changes in computing and communications. That's completely unpredictable at the moment. The really big mystery is that we're on an evolving conveyor belt towards the future in technology, in society, in culture. When we look back, it'll look amazingly obvious. But at the moment we can't figure out where it's going to happen,. Is China going to lead the world in the next half century
