I think at first they were unsure. Both my parents have always been huge advocates for the sports. So I don't think they were like overly surprised when I started getting these opportunities, but I think they were also like, what does this mean for your future? Like make sure you focus on getting a real grown up job and all this stuff. My mom had three kids in the span of 18 months. She's a hero.
