Ron DeSantis and all the finance bros who have fallen in love with Ron DeSantis because they don't think it's appropriate to say that they like Trump, but they still want free market conservatism part of the Republican party. They were all screaming over the weekend, hoping that the government would step in. It is true that if the government had not come in and protected depositors, I'm sure a lot of rich venture capitalists would have gotten screwed.
