I agree until we understand a lot more about resting state and exactly out of process it I agree with you in very impaired patients you can get creative. What I have done in patients is like who couldn't really perform a task. Adjust the task to very low levels or even passive listening to text does engage the language. And if you compare that to music, where the patient cannot sing along the text with, then you can pro language.
