NPS net promoter score is loosely coupled to renewable rate and I think some people miss that like unhappy customers were new. Happy customers may not review we just got acquired I got a new boss but we have to switch as a corporate standard right so I always say when you're doing surveys because a lot of companies when they do their NPS survey they ask the NPS question right but also ask explicitly do you intend to renew like six months before the contract is up? And then you can just see the loose coupling between those. The other point I'd like to make on NPS is just buyer versus user like at my last company hosted analytics it was used by every budget owner in the company
