Alan Cooper: I love what Tim is doing with his wonderful 28 days of Black Designers Project. It's hard to believe that the ignorance of racism and racial prejudice still exist in America, but sadly, it does. To any fellow human who believes the same color is everyone else, who thinks you are superior to a certain race because of the color of your skin, I'd ask you to consider whether you'd still feel the same when that person of whatever color is caring for you on your death ban or after a serious accident. Be sure to tweet your takeaways and mention at Tim Hikes and at userdefenders.com slash Spotify.
Tim Hykes shines a light on black designers. He shows us how an inspiring idea, and a lot of hard work can make a huge impact. He inspires us to challenge everything, especially the status quo. He motivates us to not wait to be asked to solve a problem, but to be a self-starter and solve it. He also teaches us how being a great designer starts with being a great person.
