Luther: If we take Jesus away as the one time for all sacrifice, time sacrifice for the sin of the world, we will immediately turn on our neighbor and ourself. We'll offer ourselves up to God as a sacrifice. And so what we repent of then daily is that ultimately it's only the forgiveness of sin that sets us free from this memetic tradition.
