The Feeling Experience of Seasons in the Spiritual Journey

The writers of the Bible, not just here, all over, are open and honest about such seasons. They do not sweep it under the rug like a dirty little secret but put it out in the open to wrestle with it as a community. We read this literally in the Torah where God's presence on top of Mount Sinai is likened to a cloud. But we also read this in the poetry, I think of Nehem 1, quote, the clouds are the dust of his feet. And these are just two of many metaphors in the library of scripture for such seasons in the spiritual journey.
