Bremar, Scotland - The History of Bremarle

Queen Victoria popularized the Scottish highlands. She began a movement of taking over more and more land for 'sporting estates' In 1840, about 3,000 cattle and sheep were removed from five clackens in Glen High. The population was moved to alternative places like Octavon up there. Genan Watson explains why this particular Glen is so interesting to him.
