The East German, the old GDR, were very badly drugging their young females from a age of 11. For 20 years, that was allowed to go on. It massively affected women's sport. All European Championships during that period of time, they won 90% of the women's medals and practically none of the men's medal. We're expecting young females to compete at the moment with a known disadvantage - not something that's asked of the men.
