The Importance of Solidarity in North America

I think that if you are trying to have solidarity with the majority of people, it makes more sense to start being like what are things we know produce violence? Like what are conditions under which people are more likely to be in active violence? What are conditions that make people safer? And so wouldn't it make more sense to be focusing our efforts on trying to build up conditions like that in North America.
