The Christian Claim and the History of the Israelites

Don't literalize the poetry of the Bible. Everything that's written in the Bible and the history of the Israelites is not worthy of following. A lot of the story is them doing terrible things just because it's written. It doesn't mean it's like these are all good. So you can really misread Scripture out of context.
