The Journey to Purple Mountains

"I just rewrote for a year. And the problems I was having finishing the songs solved themselves," he says. "For me, the three of us pretty much made the record." He didn't know Woods at all but decided to take a risk by asking them to produce and play on it. The result is what we're now hearing as a Purple Mountains record.
