The Paradox of the Amish
I'm well aware of where the amish get caught in their own paradox because they are against what is called the mood this arrogance or what no but on the other hand it's the elementary Hegelian point to be made date the way nonetheless. The more they make themselves modest the more actually through the very procedure they want to mark to designate their modesty the very procedure of making it extremely arrogant so here we have I think this nice example of the the electric described by Hegel already a prop off aspatism and so on how the very procedure by means of which you try to assert something undermines the goal.
