Cognitive Impairment in Parkinson's Disease
The cognitive and the behavioral aspects of more advanced Parkinson's disease are often the ones that are hardest to manage. If there is one risk factor for somebody with advanced Parkinson's ending up in a nursing facility, it's actually PD psychosis. When we think about cognitive impairment in Parkinson's, there are some features that differentiate it from Alzheimer's.
