Is Freud a Threat to Free Will?

The first time we learned that the brain was deeply implicated in thinking and behavior was when the first person had their head removed. He also, and here's where I think Freudian theory might be more of a threat to free will. Even if you think that free will can be realized in a naturalistic way that it doesn't require a soul or a non material mind. But, but he was one of saying biology is destiny, right? And that, that I think captures something nice about him.
