The concept of impermanent loss is quite complicated to get your head around, but not that complicates in the end. If I were to recommend my grandmother to use DEX after explaining it to her, I would definitely say go with a stable swap DEX. It seems like AMMs have become able to be used even with blockchains that haven't really scaled yet. But as Karai was saying, not everything is going to happen on chain and that's something that I know there are blockchain purists that are going to hear me say this and yank their hairs.
