How I Transitioned From a Developer to an Entrepreneur

After leaving Wall Street, I joined AmeriCorps and worked as a volunteer program manager at United Way. And then from there, I went into entrepreneurship. I started one of the first co-working spaces in Brooklyn at Wall Street. Then when that kind of opportunity wound down, I was looking for something else similar. So I got into evangelism working at a couple of e-commerce companies. At GitLab, my mission was create a great engineering culture to promote that culture instead of the tech community.
