Getting Closer to Failure in Pull-Ups

A velocity loss threshold is a measure to auto regulate and keep you either further or closer to failure. It's not exactly the same thing as RPE or reps and reserve but it kind of accomplishes the same thing I personally like reps and reserve  and here we have four more studies which mostly we're using two groups not training to failure but still equating for sets. In all four of these studies there weren't significant differences in strength gains that actually leaned in favor of the group staying a little bit further away from failure That takes place pretty linearly not perfectly linearly but pretty pretty close.
