Pre-Improbiotics for SIBO?

The choice of probiotic agent is important and I don't think that all probiotics are helpful for the treatment of SIBO. For me, it's a matter of looking what bacterial strains have got actions against those species that are present and overgrown in patients with SIBO or produce compounds that are active against those same species. So I use probiotics as prokinetics in my patients as well as to help with it, that sort of decontamination phase and I use them as as preventative agents for SIBO too.
