Alexis J. Cunningham Vogue wrote a beautiful essay about the differences between economic situation and class privilege which are related but not always so someone who's for example white and doesn't happen to have a whole lot of income at the moment is not in the same place as someone who also doesn't have much money. The article laid out an intelligent way of thinking about and doing a sliding scale pricing model that alleviated a lot of my concerns, like I said it was easy for me to write them off.
