What Connections Do You Have With Ashapurne Devi?
For one of your degrees, you translated six bengali short stories by ashapurne devi. What connects you to her, and what problem were you trying to solve by engaging in her work? Well, i knew about her through my, through my mother, who'sa devoted reader of asha punadevi's work,. And she talked about her a lot. But the literature was now, i could see that those books simply weren't available here. They were, in some sense, you know, per life line.
