Banks that are publicly traded have competing interests and the wrong incentives for what they actually do which is to provide good loans. Buffett was saying Greg is fabulous and he will be fabulous with this and his successor you know I leave that up to Greg something that you need to understand about business. You really want a business that's simple enough that an idiot can run it because someday an idiot will and you want the business to survive that bad management.
