The Importance of Appreciating Your Ancestors
I think there is a lot in the Asian culture of spending time and appreciating your ancestors and your elders, those who passed on. When I was younger, whenever we'd go out to dinner, my mom said, let's go to this Chinese restaurant. But now when I go back home, my mom's like, what are you going to eat? I go, I want to eat Chinese food. And so like, I always ask for Chinese restaurants now versus like Texas Roadhouse or something.
