The value of work in games is probably in that couple dollars an hour range because of the fun aspect. If there are people who are willing to make a dollar an hour playing the game, than that is what that time in the game is worth. Just because your motivations are more pure doesn't mean you deserve to make more money if there's not actual value there. And once we introduce crypto to gaming, we're going to discover that the value of work is very low.
