We Shouldn't Have Shut Down Schools
The World Bank has now estimated that about a billion kids are on average nine months behind their life. The world in 2040, it's going to cost $1.2 trillion in lost GDP every year. There were people who were saying at the time that shutting down schools was going to cause all kinds of trouble and that these costs were not being taken into account, and they were told to shut up.
