The Importance of Community Engagement on Reddit

I was just really surprised because that didn't seem like I thought Reddit was kind of above that or like better than that. The path forward seems so clear to me why they're making this so difficult for not only themselves but the entire community as well. It feels like it's been such like an own goal so many times that goal is just full of balls now they just can't do any more. They need to take a step back and just say look like we're going to talk to developers this time instead of doing everything behind closed doors.
