The Donkey and the Carpenter's Table

A boy worked for a carpenter who was making a table. He would say to the table, 'My master has been sawing and hammering all day' A scrumptious meal appeared on the table with rough bread,. butter, chicken nivepate, fessent fish, roast potatoes, carrots, green beans, chocolate cake and lemonade. The innkeeper asked him what he would like to order for supper. And the boy replied, I don't need to order any food. I can provide myself with a six-course meal.
